English as a Second Language, Level D

This course is designed to improve students’ proficiency in English with increasing fluency and accuracy for both academic and social purposes. Students will develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, which are essential for success in school and everyday life. The curriculum includes understanding and interpreting complex directions, engaging in complex spoken interactions, reading a variety of texts, and writing longer and more complex texts for academic purposes. The course also covers socio-cultural competence and media literacy, helping students navigate different social contexts and understand media texts​
